Deleon Best

Deleon Best is the owner and director of Best Acupuncture, which serves the Charlotte and Lake Norman Area. He holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine, and is Nationally Certified in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. Deleon earned his Masters of Science degree from the prestigious Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

After earning his Masters, Deleon continued his education with an externship at the Tong Ren Hospital, and Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center in China. He holds both Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture certifications, as well as Chinese Herbal Certifications. Currently, Deleon enjoys continuing to further his knowledge in Oriental Medicine and related studies through post-graduate work at prominent higher-learning institutions, and holistic health care seminars throughout the country.

He is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), which is the highest accreditation in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology in the U.S. Deleon is licensed by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board (NCALB), and is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM). In addition to these certifications, Deleon is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCAAOM).

Trained in all aspects of Oriental Medicine, Deleon specializes in the Japanese style of Acupuncture — a less invasive technique, using very shallow insertion of the needles. In 2002, Deleon opened Best Acupuncture as a private practice in Cornelius, North Carolina. Over the years, he has developed strong relationships with integrative health practitioners, and the medical professional communities throughout Charlotte, North Carolina and the Lake Norman area. Dedicated to his unique and caring approach to balancing the body, Deleon is greatly respected within the healing community.

Andrew Walsh

Andrew Walsh brings over 20 years as a practitioner to your healing needs. With years of practice and training internationally, few can match his expertise at balancing the body.

Andrew’s training began in Australia in the early nineties. After graduation, he created one of the top Oriental medicine practices in all of Australia. In order to continue growing as a practitioner and to better serve patients, Andrew spent the next 6 years researching and practicing in China, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. While living internationally, he met his wife, Felicia, and decided to move to the United States. His training in Oriental medicine covers all aspects of health including women’s and men’s health, such as: pain, fertility, scaring, trauma, and body rejuvenation.

Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in both acupuncture and Chinese herbology — the highest level of accreditation available in the U.S., Andrew is also licensed by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board (NCALB). Furthermore, he is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM), and lives in Cornelius with his wife, Felicia, and daughter, Mila.

Lissette Lopez-Stevermer

Lissette Lopez-Stevermer’s path to Best Acupuncture as an acupuncturist comes with years of experience as a healer. Through having delivered thousands of treatments to patients, she has developed a deep understanding of the importance of listening to each clients’ unique needs. Combining this knowledge along with her training in Chinese Medicine, Lissette helps facilitate each patients ability to heal from within.

She achieved the highest accreditation available in acupuncture, and is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Along with her NCCAOM accreditation, Lissette is licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina by the NCALB (North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board). Prior to this, she earned her Masters of Health Sciences.

Additionally, Lissette believes every person deserves optimal health, whether young or old, male or female. With this in mind, she feels that Traditional Chinese Medicine is remarkable in its potential to enhance and improve each clients way of life, and looks forward to working with you on your path to wellness.
