Pam Kessinger Best is a Cornelius, North Carolina based yoga teacher. She teaches varying styles of vinyasa flow yoga at The Bindu, as well as to a vast pool of corporate and private clientele. Pam’s appetite for yoga is infectious. Her playful mixture of challenging classes with her outgoing and fun personality is the recipe for a truly inspiring class. As a dedicated vegetarian and plant based whole food advocate, she is also passionate about sharing healthy, organic and eco-friendly recipes.
Pam is dedicated to giving back to her community. She is a volunteer at The Hope House Foundation, a transitional home for homeless women and their children in the Lake Norman community.
Her yoga journey began thirteen years ago when a YMCA instructor brought yoga to her small, rural town in southern Ohio. Feeling a deep connection between the movements of yoga and gymnastics, her world opened into a practice that would forever change her life mentally, physically and spiritually.
In 2007, Pam completed her 230-hour Yoga Teacher certification at the Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, North Carolina. She is also certified in Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. She enjoys the gift of teaching yoga and believes yoga can be an essential element to disease prevention and health. She believes we each have the ability to heal our body one breath at a time.
Pam considers herself a “Yoga Junkie” and loves to learn from teachers all over the world. She infuses her classes with love, light and laughter and hopes each student walks away a little brighter and lighter than before.
