Deleon Best is one of the most distinguished and experienced Oriental Medicine Practitioners in the United States. He has delivered over 100,000 treatments since Best Acupuncture opened in 2002. He has fused together the highest levels of acupuncture training with his practical knowledge and unique insights into the body to provide you with a world class healing experience.
Deleon is a licensed acupuncturist through the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board (NCALB). He is recognized as a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This is the highest level of accreditation in the USA.

He holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe New Mexico. Upon graduation Deleon continued his studies at the Beijing International Acupuncture training center in China and with an externship at the Tong Ren hospital in Beijing.

He continues to further his knowledge in oriental medicine and related studies through post-graduate work at prominent higher learning institutions and holistic healthcare seminars throughout the country. Deleon is trained in all aspects of Oriental medicine including women’s health and fertility, cosmetic and facial rejuvenation, stress, anxiety and pain.

He has developed strong relationships with integrative health practitioners and the professional medical communities throughout Charlotte and Lake Norman. He is respected in the healing community for his unique and caring approach to balancing the body.

Deleon lives in Huntersville with his wife Kerry Anne Ritchie and their fur babies.
